For the past 50 years, Belmont Nursing graduates have earned a reputation for excellence and compassionate care and can be found today working in a variety of health care facilities throughout the United States and abroad. The length of time people spend in a care home varies according to their needs and preferences. Our homes offer permanent care to suit your needs or perhaps a respite stay might be required during a period of convalescence after being in hospital.
From Monday, nursing home visits were allowed to resume as part of the Government’s roadmap to reopening the country following the coronavirus pandemic. However, the manner in which nursing homes reopened to visits depends on the individual facility. We have a dedicated care team working diligently to ensure all our patients are happy and comfortable during their stay with us until they are well enough to transition home or to another healthcare facility. Graduates are challenged to embrace a commitment to lifelong learning by increasing knowledge, competence, and advocacy for patients and professional nurses.

It was a pleasure, as always, to have Madam Mayor of Sutton, Councillor Trish Fivey join us to celebrate. All of our staff are experienced and fully trained in the care of residents with maximum dependency care needs. We have a full programme of activities and therapies which are designed to provide stimulation whilst dispelling anxiety. We consider respite care to be a vital support to people living in their own homes with the help of a relative or home help. When the time comes to consider full nursing home care, our staff will be there to consult with the resident, their carer, the G.P., hospital consultant or district nursing service so that an individual care plan may be established.
